The Asec Euro Cylinder Operated Sashlock is ideal for use on applications where you want to incorporate your own cylinder, perfect for where it has to fit into a masterkey system or if you have many keys in circulation and can utilise your existing cylinder. Once installed pushing down on the door handle (not supplied) will retract the top latch and using the key or turn of a euro profile cylinder (not supplied) will operate the bottom deadbolt. The latch bolt is easily reversible so the lock can be installed on the left or right hand side of the door. The lock case is pierced on either side of the euro cut out so can be used with bolt through escutcheons for a secure installation. This lock has a useful key to latch function - an additional turn of the key or knob on the Euro cylinder will retract the latch bolt.
