Jackloc Receives Sold Secure Status

Jackloc, the British window restrictor manufacturer, announced today that their Titan by Jackloc product passed Sold Secure accreditation, marking the first time that a window restrictor has been officially recognised to help reduce crime.

The Titan by Jackloc folding window restrictor endured a series of strength tests, analysing the amount and location of force required to separate it from the window. It was awarded the coveted Sold Secure status accordingly, a feat that is due to the Titan's unique and patented design features. The Titan by Jackloc is now part of the Sold Secure Approved Product list and officially recommended as both a safe and secure crime prevention product.

The Titan by Jackloc features include:

• 8 x grade 4 security screws for added strength
• Tested to withstand a force of 74 stone
• Manufactured and all parts sourced in the UK

The Master Locksmiths Association Sold Secure accreditation is designed to reduce the risk of crime by assessing security products in the market. The testing process involves police, insurance providers and industry bodies to create standard test specifications, before individual tests are undertaken on products.
