The Union 60mm HD72 deadlocking mortice nightlatch features a cast steel latch as well as being provided with spindle grip to eliminate handle rattle, giving a professional aesthetic.

Interior operation: The latch bolt withdrawn by lever handle. Alternatively, a turn of the cylinder key or thumbturn will retract the latch bolt. When the door closes and the snib comes into contact with the strike the latch is deadlocked.

Exterior Operation: The latch bolt is retracted by the cylinder key to unlock the door. When latch is deadlocked a key must be used for re-entry. No lever is required on the outside. However, a door pull or cylinder pull ought to be used.
