The Union 60mm HD72 Mortise Escape Sash Lock features a cast steel latch and durable chrome plated deadbolt as well as being provided with spindle grip to eliminate handle rattle, giving a professional aesthetic.

Interior operation: When locked, the latch and deadbolt are retracted simultaneously with a single operation of the lever. When unlocked, only the latch bolt is retracted. The deadbolt is locked and unlocked by operation of the cylinder key / turn. Turning the cylinder for a second time will retract the latch bolt.

Exterior Operation: The latch bolt is retracted by a lever and the deadbolt is locked/unlocked by turning the cylinder key. A second turn of the cylinder will also retract the latch bolt.

A two-way adjustable strike with splinter guard ensures a perfect fit is quickly achieved, with adjustable strikes to ensure door engages to the frame correctly, while the splinter guard hides rough unfinished timber and protects the lock from frame debris.
