The V09 electric sliding gate lock is a high reliability lock specially designed for use on outdoor, manual or automated sliding gates. Unlike closing systems with padlocks, chains and standard mechanical shackle locks, the V09 offers new and effective levels of security. It is easy to use, weatherproof and cannot be attacked from the outside. Furthermore, it is suitable for both left and right hand gates and is supplied with roof-plate and fixing plate.

The V09 electronic sliding gate lock allows for cable entry on the back for maximum protection of the connecting wires. This lock is used with an electronic control unit and can operate successfully on both 12V and 24V, DC and AC. A 24V power supply is always recommended as it guarantees the proper operation over time even in presence of dirt, dust and oxidation. The 12V power supply guarantees a lower power consumption and is recommended to prevent overheating of the electromagnet especially for installations in hot climates and in case of very long sliding gates or gates that move very slowly.

The special spike mechanism will tolerate a thermal expansion in the dimensions of sliding gates of up to 9.6 mm. A thermal expansion of 9.6 mm is the equivalent to a change in temperature of 100° C for a gate which is 8 metres long. A Euro profile half cylinder with total length 40mm (30mm + 10mm) is recommended for use with this lock when used with automated gates. Also suitable for manual sliding gates (fitted with a double through cylinder).
