The WD-40 Specialist Fast Release Penetrant 400ml specifically targets corroded or rusted components and mechanisms. It’s formula loosens stuck or seized parts quickly and easily. The penetrant has an extremely low surface tension, meaning it can cut through rust, seams and tightly-bonded threads to easily saturate and lubricate seized fixings. The Smart Straw and 360° valve allows it to be used precisely at all angles, and the capillary action of the formula means it can reach tight and hard to reach spaces. Furthermore, it is highly water resistant, Fast Release Penetrant can also displace moisture that may be disrupting smooth movement, and can be used as a preventative to prohibit the build up of rust and corrosion in the future. With the Smart Straw applicator, you’ve got two ways to spray; use the flip up straw for hard to reach areas, such as inside chains, locks or rollers, then flip it down to use the wide angle spray eye for area coverage on surfaces. Whichever way you need to spray, you can rely on the clever 360° valve to work efficiently at every angle, even upside down.

This lubricant was previously packaged with a yellow top and yellow straw and marked "WD-40 Specialist Fast Release Penetrant". Latest packaging is a red top and red straw and the can is marked "WD-40 Specialist Penetrant". The product specification, however, remains unchanged.
